Vitals collected overnight metrics and notified when two or more fell outside the typical range; Apple defined it for wellness, not medical use. Training load compared seven days with a weighted 28-day baseline and let users edit estimated effort. It was not a direct, infallible fatigue or injury-risk measurement.

Rings could pause without losing streaks and goals vary by day. Launch sleep apnea notifications were limited to Series 9, Series 10 and Ultra 2, for adults 18 or older without a prior diagnosis in authorized regions, not every watch installing watchOS 11.

Later history includes 11.6.1 in August 2025: notes describe a new US Blood Oxygen experience for Series 9, Series 10 and Ultra 2, calculated on iPhone and viewed in Health. It is not backdated to 11.0 or generalized to every model. 11.6.2 appears in February 2026 as bug fixes.
