LaserWriter Plus (1986)
A PostScript laser printer documented by Apple in 1986: a 12 MHz Motorola 68000, 1.5 MB RAM and 300 dpi.

Illustrative recreation, not a photograph or evidence of a surviving unit. Broad exterior form is informed by the original model manual illustration; colors and schematic marks do not establish finishes, controls or internal configuration. A permitted photograph of the correct model will replace it when available. Schematic case of a shared series, not visual identification of the variant or evidence of model-specific functions.

Documentary context
Apple Support and TIL 11051 place the LaserWriter Plus in January 1986. The date article explicitly calls its introduction dates approximate; a table’s first-of-month date is not treated as proof of a first sale. The Plus remains distinct from the original LaserWriter.
Architecture and connections
The specification documents a 12 MHz Motorola 68000, 1 MB ROM and 1.5 MB RAM. Listed languages are PostScript and Diablo 630. Connections are LocalTalk and serial; Ethernet or USB are not added by analogy with later printers.
Performance and limits
Apple lists 300 dpi and 8 pages per minute. These are model specifications, not measurements of a surviving unit. A photograph of the original LaserWriter is not proof of a Plus, and later upgrades are not presumed.
