QuickDraw and upgrades
Apple's archived sheet documents LaserWriter Select 300 in 1993 with QuickDraw and serial connection. The original brochure offers Adobe PostScript as an upgrade. Not Select 310 or Select 360. The documented year is not a verified first-sale day.
Engine and memory
Apple lists up to 5 pages per minute, 300 dpi and FinePrint text smoothing. Memory ranges from 0.5 to 4.5 MB, with one 30-pin slot. PhotoGrade was optional: the brochure's 1000-dpi marketing equivalence does not change the engine's physical resolution.
Paper and illustrative image
The brochure includes a 250-sheet automatic tray and manual feed; additional trays were optional. Maximum expanded capacity is not standard equipment.
