Power Macintosh 6100/66 (1995)
The Power Macintosh 6100/66 is separate from the 6100/60, 66AV and DOS Compatible. Apple TIL 16929 documents a 66 MHz PowerPC 601 with FPU, 32 K on-chip cache and 256 K L2. The individual summary includes January 3, 1995, attributed to the record rather than proven delivery. The optional Intel 486DX2-66 listed by support does not make every 6100/66 a standard DOS Compatible machine.

History and documentation
The Power Macintosh 6100/66 is separate from the 6100/60, 66AV and DOS Compatible. Apple TIL 16929 documents a 66 MHz PowerPC 601 with FPU, 32 K on-chip cache and 256 K L2. The individual summary includes January 3, 1995, attributed to the record rather than proven delivery. The optional Intel 486DX2-66 listed by support does not make every 6100/66 a standard DOS Compatible machine.
Memory and display
TIL gives 8 MB soldered RAM, expandable to 72 MB with two equal 80 ns or faster SIMMs, and 4 MB ROM. Base-model video uses 640 K non-expandable DRAM, with 32,768 colours at 640 × 480 or 256 at 832 × 624 per its table. The 66AV's 2 MB VRAM and S-video belong to another variant, not added here. HDI-45 connects AudioVision directly; other displays need the stated adapter.
Storage and connections
The internal disk is 350 MB in TIL versus 350–500 MB in the summary. TIL describes optional internal CD-ROM and a 5.25-inch half-height bay; seeing a CD drive in a photo does not prove every bundle included it. Built-in SuperDrive, one ADB, two LocalTalk/GeoPort-compatible serial ports, AAUI-15 Ethernet, SCSI for up to six external devices and 16-bit stereo audio are documented. The slot takes PDS or a 7-inch NuBus card through an adapter, not both at once.
Software, dimensions and photograph
Required software is System 7.5; support identifies PowerPC Enabler 1.1.1. Its 210 Max Watts is attributed to the summary. TIL separately gives 86 W continuous output, but its AC input section explicitly names the 6100/60: its 132/201 W figures are not transferred to the 66 as though that line verified it. The All About Apple CC BY-SA 2.5 Italy photo shows the 6100/66 label; it is the 2005 original restored on Commons in 2021, not the intervening crop. I made no new edits.
