PowerBook Duo Dock II (1994)
The PowerBook Duo Dock II is a distinct 1994 expansion dock, not the original Duo Dock or 1995 Duo Dock Plus. It houses a closed PowerBook Duo: the portable still supplies the main processor while the dock adds desktop connections and expansion. Service Source describes motorised insertion and ejection; it is not a universal USB dock.

Model and use
The PowerBook Duo Dock II is a distinct 1994 expansion dock, not the original Duo Dock or 1995 Duo Dock Plus. It houses a closed PowerBook Duo: the portable still supplies the main processor while the dock adds desktop connections and expansion. Service Source describes motorised insertion and ejection; it is not a universal USB dock.
Memory and expansion
Apple 112179 identifies a 68882 math coprocessor and 32 KB cache; Service Source specifies 33 MHz for that assembly. Built-in VRAM is 1 MB with no further expansion socket according to the manual. There are two NuBus slots, DB-15 video, AAUI Ethernet, ADB, two serial ports and HDI-30 SCSI. No USB, Wi-Fi or independent CPU is inferred from today's meaning of dock.
Connections and peripherals
The manual documents an internal 1.4 MB floppy drive and SCSI connections for external devices; ports and slots turn the Duo into a desktop system with external display, keyboard and mouse. Apple's video tables allow 640×480 at 16 bits and 1024×768 at 8 bits. Display and card compatibility depends on configuration: no arbitrary modern display is promised without adapters, and a system photograph does not establish the sales bundle.
Sources and image
Apple 112179 lists 87 W maximum, while Service Source rates the supply at 75 W continuous and 85 W surge; these figures are published in different contexts. Physical figures differ: the web sheet gives 5.1 × 12.3 × 16.3 inches and 13.5 pounds; the manual gives 6.22 × 12.75 × 16.37 inches and 15 pounds without a hard disk for II/Plus. The two sets remain separate. No unverified first-shipment day is stated. Dpaanlka · public domain. Duo Dock II with display, keyboard and mouse; the photograph does not establish the sales bundle.
