Launch

Apple introduced it on September 10, 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater, and it reached stores on September 30. It was the first entry-level iPad with a 10.2-inch display (previous generations used 9.7-inch) and the first with a Smart Connector, enabling the full-size Smart Keyboard.
