System support does not imply support for every feature.

Control Center collects settings and shortcuts, while Notification Center is accessible from the Lock screen. Photos organizes images into Moments, and Safari combines search and addresses. Activation Lock requires the Apple ID and password for certain operations on a device protected by Find My iPhone. iTunes Radio initially launched in the US, not worldwide.

The update was announced for iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, iPad mini and fifth-generation iPod touch. The list does not include iPhone 3GS or fourth-generation touch. iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display were also announced with iOS 7. System compatibility does not mean every feature: iPhone 5s Touch ID integration depends on its sensor.

Revisions stay inside this entry: iOS 7.0.3 adds iCloud Keychain, and iOS 7.1 adds CarPlay and accessibility changes. CarPlay needs a compatible vehicle and a Lightning-equipped iPhone on Apple's list: iPhone 5, 5c or 5s. It is not a feature of every device that can install iOS 7; update notes are not used to invent a factory revision.
