What changes and who it is for
It is the MacBook Pro generation with the full M4 family: M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max. The 14-inch M4 model moves to 16GB of standard memory and three Thunderbolt 4 ports; M4 Pro and M4 Max models introduce Thunderbolt 5. Shared additions: a 12MP Center Stage camera, a nano-texture display option, up to 1000 nits of SDR brightness and up to 24 hours of battery life, the longest Apple had ever claimed in a Mac. Before choosing
Thunderbolt 5 is only on M4 Pro and M4 Max models, not the entry M4. Apple's improvement figures compare with the 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro and Intel Core i9 models, not the M3 generation. The nano-texture option and high memory configurations raise the final price considerably. Apple · Specifications
