Announcement and availability

What changes and who it is for
It is the MacBook Air update to the M3 chip, in 13- and 15-inch sizes. Apple claims up to 60 percent faster performance than the M1 model and up to 13x the fastest Intel MacBook Air; these are Apple test results. New: support for up to two external displays, Wi-Fi 6E up to 2x faster than the previous generation, and a midnight finish with an anodization seal that reduces fingerprints. Before choosing
Two external displays work with the lid closed; with the lid open it supports one. The base configuration started with 8GB of memory, tight for heavy work. The improvement figures compare against M1 and Intel models, not the M2 it replaces. Apple · Specifications
